Mission Statement
The Egyptian American Society – Chicago was founded in 2003 as a Not-for-Profit organization. It aims to enhance cultural ties between Americans of Egyptian descent and friends of Egypt, and foster relations between Egyptian Americans and their homeland. EAS social and cultural activities promote relations between Egyptian Americans and friends of Egypt in the Midwest's fourteen states, on a non-political and non-sectarian basis.
Vision
The vision of the Egyptian American Society is to:
Connect Egyptian Americans, Americans of Egyptian heritage and friends of Egypt as a community that contributes to the betterment of the lives of Egyptian Americans and those in the Egyptian homeland.
Build a network of committed members to help create new opportunities for personal and professional growth of Egyptian Americans and residing Egyptians in the US.
